Mexican oil cloth, minkee, velour and cotton OH MY!!!!

Tis the season to be creative!!!!

Well now that Christmas is finished for another year (allbeit a little late in our house due to an unforeseen hospital visit by my mum!)  it is time for this little mummy to sit down and have some one on one time with the machines!!!!

I have limited materials and with stores being closed I am going to make the most of what I can get from the local spotlight and what I have here.

On the sewing table for the next few days is an order of sposie nappy covers, some toddler sized change mats, some super cute pillowcase dresses, maybe a top or two and labels!!  Yup I have designed them and have the paper to print them out on!!!  Im so excited!!!

Well I must skoot, and start cutting pinning and sewing.  I will post photos when im done!!!

in between mummy duties!!

With the little man sick again as well as first birthdays and christmas fast approaching it seems like forever since I sat down at my machines.

So today was that day.  Between cuddles from my sick little monkey and quick trips to the local spotlight I managed to make quite a few sets of baby wipes

Customs for Viv

Here are a few relax packs for some very lucky ladies.

I was asked to 'surprise' my friend with one especially for her and then a red one and a blue one for gifts.

I chose rainbow minkee for hers. I chose it for a few reasons -

1 - its just gorgeous
2 - there isn't another exactly like it
3 - its rare and special

3 of the reasons that I love this friend as well (coincidence????)

Introduction and a few things that I have made so far

Thanks for visiting my blog. I am a stay at home mum to 3 beautiful (yet sometimes painfully time consuming!!) children. I will use this blog to show off the things that I have made. This is the Mummy relax pack that I donated to Cinderella's Stash for the Breast Cancer Awareness and Research auction


Mummy packs are wheat filled heat packs. The large ones are 30cmx25cm and the standard are 20cmx15cm. The eye packs are the same size for both. They have minkee covers and can be fragranced with dried flowers or essential oils if requested.

Here are a few custom woobies on their way to a couple of lucky little people!!!!


Woobies are a play on a security blanket. They have snaps on each corner to hold dummies, toys etc and also to attach to the pram or carseat so that baby can easily find it. It is also useful at night for easy dummy finding!!!
